Frank started SWAT 40 years ago with the idea of creating a pest control company like no other. He knows that there are many options for people to choose from, and he wants SWAT to stand apart. He has done that by creating a company that focuses on building a relationship with it’s customers so that when a homeowner calls SWAT they know they are getting what they are paying for. They should have a company they can trust at their home. Through the years the company has expanded to do more than termite and pest control. We have also added full Home Repairs and Wildlife Divisions. We want to be that complete home services company for our customers; from plumbing to roofing, and any other home needs, we can do it all. Customers know when they call us they are getting the SWAT Guarantee behind any of the work completed for their home. We are not finished with any job no matter how big or small until the customer is completely happy.

Frank is a graduate of Southern Polytechnic State University and holds a DCO certification with the Georgia State Department of Agriculture. He began working at the age of 10, running a paper route, and has not slowed down since. At 80 most people are looking forward to retirement, but Frank is still involved in the day-to-day operations at SWAT. He is always available should a homeowner have any questions and is usually the first to arrive and the last to leave the office each day. He has been married to Nancy for 62 years. 

Nancy Callaway

Nancy is one of the owners of SWAT services and has been married to our other owner Frank Callaway for 62 years. She is a native of Georgia and began her career at the age of 17 with the Southern Bell Company where she worked for 7 years. At that point, she chose to stay at home with their daughter Tara until she began working for SWAT in 1986. Nancy also enjoys interior decorating and if you have ever been to the SWAT Office you have seen her work, she enjoys shopping and gardening as well. Her favorite thing about SWAT is the relationships she has made over the years with the employees and customers. She is a fixture at SWAT and all of our long-term customers know Nancy as a friend. She enjoys making people feel special and is great about remembering special dates and anniversaries and she is the best at taking care of each and every individual at SWAT Services. She decided to retire in 2024 but, still makes an appearance around the SWAT Office every now and then.

Tara Straub

Tara is the only child of Frank and Nancy Callaway. She attended Berry University and began working for SWAT in 1990. She is currently the SWAT Chief Financial Officer and has been focused on raising her  children. She and her husband Darrin are now empty nesters as their youngest just left for college. They spend their free time traveling and enjoying their grandchildren.

Heather Jarrell

Heather is the Office Manager and has been working with SWAT since April 2008. She registered with the State Department of Agriculture in Termite and Pest Control, she holds her wildlife and trapping license with the State Department of Natural Resources (DNR) and is currently studying to become Certified. She is a Georgia native and is married to the SWAT Jack of all Trades David. They have 5 children 4 girls and 1 boy, and are proud grandparents to  Addilyn. We have watched her children grow up at SWAT as their youngest is a Senior in High School. She loves to read, watch documentaries and is fascinated with all things ancestry related.

David has been working with the SWAT pest control team for almost 15 years. He is our resident Jack of all trades. He is a native of Georgia and currently resides in Dallas, GA with his wife Heather (who also works for SWAT). He is also the proud Pops to Addilyn. David is not only registered with the Department of Agriculture as a Termite and Pest Control Technician but also holds a Master Plumbing License with the State of Georgia, State License Number MP208798, and has almost 30  years of experience in the Plumbing industry. He is trained as a Home Inspector in the State of Georgia and holds certification with Rheem to install their Tankless Water Heating Systems. He holds his wildlife and trapping license with the State Department of Natural Resources (DNR) and has also completed the Termite University that is offered through the University of Georgia. David’s passion is Football and is fanatic about their hometown teams – the Atlanta Falcons and Georgia Bulldogs. He prides himself on being hard working and is determined to find a solution for any problem the homeowner may have.

Dee Smith

Dee is a CSR in the SWAT office. She has been with the SWAT Services team since March 2011. Before coming to SWAT, Dee worked in the medical profession for 20 years. Dee was born in Kentucky and moved to Georgia in 1982. Dee is a proud Mother and Grandmother and loves animals. She also loves to travel. Dee’s favorite part of working at SWAT is that our entire staff is one big family. She is always very helpful in the office, stepping in to assist where needed, without having to be asked to do so, she has become the scheduling master over the years and has taken over the Termite Department after Jackie’s retirement.  She is quick to answer the phone, odds are if you have called the SWAT office you have spoken to Dee.

Jessica Duckett

Jessica is the scheduler for the Pest Control and Wildlife Department. She is engaged to VJ, and they live in Marietta, GA. They are proud dog parents to three beautiful dogs, Ellie, Karma, and Zena. With 8 years of experience in the industry, she holds registration in termite and pest control and is currently working on obtaining a wildlife certification. Her favorite aspects of her job are anything related to the wildlife services as it is always something different each day. She enjoys the family work environment here at Swat. Along with her fiancé, she is a Nissan Z and GT-R car enthusiast. She and VJ enjoy driving in the mountains and participating in track days at Road Atlanta. She loves traveling, cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs, and spending time with family and friends.

Jason is a technician and brings with him over 20 years of experience in the Termite & Pest Control Industry. He joined the SWAT Family in 2014.  He is registered in both termite and pest control and also holds his commercial and Mosquito licensing.  He is happily married with 3 sons. He mainly spends his free time with his boys and their extra-curricular activities; he also enjoys watching MMA and baseball. He really enjoys meeting new people and he loves helping customers solve their problems. All our customers have praised the addition of Jason to the SWAT family.

Chuck has been with the SWAT pest control team since October 1989 and was the third employee ever hired by Frank. Chuck loves working for SWAT because it is family oriented and offers flexibility. He is a customer favorite and is loved by everyone. He recently transitioned from the field in to the office and offers a wealth of knowledge to our customers and technicians alike. He has spent his entire career at SWAT. He is very knowledgeable about treating any pest problem and will go above and beyond to take care of his customer’s needs. His favorite thing about his job is troubleshooting problems and interacting with customers.  In his free time, he enjoys traveling with his wife Tammy. He also enjoys hunting and fishing.

Joseph is a universal technician registered with the Georgia Department of Agriculture for Termite and Pest Control and he holds his wildlife and trapping license with the State Department of Natural Resources (DNR). He is hard working and takes pride in a job well done. He is a husband and father to a spunky little girl who is a heart warrior and spends his spare time with his family, they particularly enjoy fishing. Whenever you see Joseph, the first thing you notice is that friendly smile on his face. His favorite think about his job is being able to work outside and the ability to do and learn different things.

Chase is the youngest in the SWAT family and has been with us since 2020. Don’t let his age fool you, Chase is a customer favorite with many of them requesting him by name.  He works hard to make his customers happy.  He is registered in Termite and Pest Control with the Georgia Department of Agriculture He was born in Florida but has primarily lived in Georgia his entire life. He enjoys singing and songwriting in his free time. He is also a huge fan of football and enjoys playing golf.

Derek is a service technician that brings with him 7 years of experience in the industry. He is registered in termite and pest control with the Georgia Department of Agriculture. He is recently married and is a father to one son and twin girls. He loves that he never knows what to expect from his job from stop to stop. He also enjoys talking to the customers and helping to resolve tough pest problems. In his spare time, he drives a dirt track race car, plays softball, and spends time with his family and friends.

Matt is our primary wildlife technician and has been in the industry for over ten years. He loves the challenges his job brings adapting treatment options to meet the needs of the customer. He spends his free time with his wife Bria, ten year old daughter Liddie Marie, and 7 month old daughter Brielle. He enjoys watching the Ga Bulldogs, going to church and playing board games.
